In the wake of the #MeToo movement, it’s clearer than ever that we need to put an end to sexual harassment. But that is not enough. There is also evidence of a backlash that could be harmful to women: A recent survey we developed with SurveyMonkey shows twice as many male managers now feel uncomfortable working alone with a woman. This is a step in the wrong direction.
To make our workplaces stronger and safer for everyone, we need to make sure women get more of the high-quality mentorship that advances careers––especially women of color, who are too often overlooked. That’s why today we’re launching #MentorHer, a campaign that calls on men to mentor women. When more women lead, workplaces are stronger and safer for everyone
