++ Registration still open +++ Online Dialogue on „POWER – Don´t let it bring you down, stay powerful yourself“
Dear EWMD Members,
Women tend to have a very different way of reacting if they are exposed to signals of power, different from men. There can be situations at work where power is consciously demonstrated, subtle tricks are played – in short, power is being abused – be it by colleagues, bosses or other business contacts. It can take you by surprise and you often don’t know how to handle the situation or how best to react. How do you stay calm? How can you notice challenging situations well ahead of escalations that are hard to control?
This session aims at building awareness of day-to-day challenges of power exercised by others, how we behave when we are in a position of power as well as the strength that lies in reflection and mutual support.
Three EWMD members worked on the concept that helps women to become more aware of these types of attacks, nuance and allusions. Please join Elisabeth Grebe (CH), Katrin Neuendorf (GER), Susanne Schwanzer (AUT) in this live exchange. As experienced managers in industry as well as trainers and coaches they want to share and discuss their findings and proposals.
